I specialize in working with people with concerns about anxiety, chronic health conditions, and disabilities. My goal in therapy is to help you live the life you want - to be the person you want to be - and learn to be with the things that make life challenging. In therapy I can teach you the skills you need to acknowledge your pain and suffering - but not let it keep you from your family, career, goals, or dreams.
I begin with the understanding that everyone should be in charge of the direction of their own lives. As it turns out, the kind of person you want to be is an excellent guide for therapy. When I come to therapy, I come from a truly non-judgmental space as my clients are living life based on their goals and values - not mine. In therapy, we will certainly talk about our thoughts and feelings; but at the end of the day we will focus on practical skills that will give you the tools to live your life to the fullest.
I’m a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor.
